The 'top end' of Australia is a place of great beauty and colour. From Darwin in the north to the desert country of the center, to the lush wetlands of the famous Kakadu National Park, the 'top end' offers a huge diversity of fauna and flora.
These images were all taken during the month of May. The 'top end' has two distinct seasons, 'the wet' and 'the dry'. Summer is the monsoon season, a time of high rainfall, high humidity and lush green growth. The dry from May to September is warm with little rain.
